Brazilian way
With oil and foods, it is rocking
15/05/2008

When global food crisis and rising oil prices are major concerns and worrifying most of the developing and struggling economies, Brazil is a happy son having enough efficiency in food production and internal oil exploration capability. And he is none other than Liz Inacio Lula da Silva, who rose from a humble background with little education, pursuing a belligerent leftist trade unionism to ultimately become the President of Brazil in 2002 to be proud off who is solely responsible for the present development and prosperity of the economy. In the first two years Brazil achieved Budget Surplus, as being the requirement of IMF, the third year saw the exceeding of the target, and in 2005, it paid off the debt in full, two years before the schedule. On the other hand, there is another blessing shinning on Brazil’s fortune which Lula described it as an intervention of “higher power” the state run oil company Petrobras discovering colossus oil fields that can change the fate of the middle income country as major exporter of crude. These, no wonders proves what Goldman Sachs predicted!
